John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to «forget» his Montana accent and revert to his usual Southern Californian voice. I live in Darby, Montana, where most of this is filmed – literally yesterday they were filming right across the street from me in a field with some horses and cattle.
I think the show is a pretty solid story, and in that niche, Costner does his best
One thing I noticed about the first season, given my half-Indian side, is that it makes you wonder who the good guys are and who the bad guys are – maybe both sides are both good and bad at the same time. I admit it’s nice to see them take pictures while I’m here, the ranch is right up my road and I drive by almost every day on my way to fish the Bitterroot River.
